My name is Shane Stone, and before I ever sold a single bunk bed, I spent years in real estate and property management, buying, renovating, and managing homes across North Carolina. I have walked through hundreds of bedrooms. I know what a well-used room looks like, and I know what a wasted one looks like too.

When you manage properties for a living, you develop an eye for what works and what does not. You learn that space is not just square footage, it is possibility. A cramped room with the right furniture becomes a place a kid actually wants to be in. A thoughtfully arranged bedroom becomes a retreat, a study space, a place where childhood happens.

I am also a father of three. That changes everything about how you see furniture.

The Problem I Kept Running Into

When my kids were young and sharing rooms, I went looking for bunk beds the same way most parents do, online, late at night, overwhelmed by options. What I found was a market full of cheap imports with no real safety information, overpriced name brands charging a premium for a logo, and a whole lot of vague product descriptions that told me nothing about whether the bed would actually fit my room or hold up to three kids who treat furniture like an obstacle course.

As someone who had spent years in property management, I knew what quality construction looked like. I knew the difference between a bed that would last five years and one that would last fifteen. I have seen what happens when furniture fails. I am not willing to sell something I would not put in my own kids' room.
